The Company

Leading international events company (part of leading global media business) seeks event sales manager for flagship event. Ambitious plans for new launches so lots of opportunities for the right person. Hybrid working (2 days in the office).

The Role

  • Building revenues via both proactive new business activity and effective management of existing client relationships.

  • Achieving all sales targets

  • Collaborating with the event director, marketing and operations teams

  • Attending competitive events with travel to Europe and US

  • Growing the event by securing targets, proposing new growth strategies and suggesting launch activity

  • Shaping the event and its future direction

The Person

  • Ambitious, resilient, hard-working

  • Proven events sales person

  • Strong commercial understanding of events and sponsorship

  • Quick learner able to get under the skin of the industry!

  • Good research and analytical skills

  • CRM user

  • Able to work autonomously with a team mentality

  • Organised, entrepreneurial, flexible, good time manager

  • Articulate, well-presented sales professional
