This Brighton based company is a leader in the Sports & Nutrition sector with two well known brands and are looking for an experienced Brand & Portfolio Marketing Manager for a 12 month maternity cover contract beginning in January 2025.
You will be a senior and driven marketeer and will cover the Brand Strategy and Management, Project Management (building & implementing product innovation pipelines), Performance Marketing, Email Marketing and E-Commerce. You will be passionate about Health and Wellness and a flare for creativity and will love being in a fast paced results driven workingenvironment.

You will own the brand strategy and marketing budget for the brand, working with the communication and partnership team to allocate investment and be sure it is used in effective ways
You will also own the D2C platform, from strategy & target setting to day-to-day implementation of the strategy. This includes promotional activities, NPD launches, UX improvements and other revenue driving tactics.
You will creatively think of ways to stand out from the competition and cut through the sector world to drive brand awareness
Responsibility for the portfolio strategy for the brand, setting out the NPD roadmap based on category gaps and consumer insights. Manage internal teams (R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technical, Production) to bring these products to market, from conception to launch.
Report on monthly KPI performance across the wider organisation and senior leadership team using data to form future decisions
Be the Brand Guardian. Making sure every communication and asset are representing the brand USPs, personality and in line with the business brand values. Including but not limited to: packaging, ads, website, email, socials, trade assets.
Organise brand health studies and consumer focus groups to better understand the customer
Work with design and comms teams to ensure the commercial team have the assets they require.
Liaise with department directors & stakeholders monthly to update and report on the NPD roadmap, and to build out the vision of the brand and constantly develop the yearly brand plan.
Work with agencies to ensure results are delivered
