We are recruiting for an AEO award winning exhibition client who is now looking for a new Exhibition and Sponsorship Account Executive to join their successful sales team who are based in Brighton. You will be selling exhibition space and sponsorship to carefully selected fitness and sports therapy suppliers.

The Exhibition Account Executive role:
You will be working alongside 2 other people in the sales team selling exhibition space and sponsorship to potential clients in your designate area of the show.

 

Your role will be:

Ø  To ensure the revenue budget is achieved or exceeded.

Ø  To sell exhibition space and sponsorship via phone calls and meetings

Ø  To identify, research and develop new business opportunities.

Ø  To review and monitor competitive exhibitions/publications and identify new leads.

Ø  To research and contact potential clients to ensure current and new business is developed.

Ø  To liaise and communicate effectively with other members of the team in sales, production and service departments

Ø  To ensure that event revenue is maximised whilst promises are kept.

Ø  To ensure the revenue budget is achieved or exceeded.

The Exhibition Account Executive candidate:

Ideally you will have some exhibition or media sales experience, or from a recruitment background and will be keen to ambitious to pursue a career in the events industry.

They are now looking for 2-3 highly motivated Event/Delegate Sales Executives to join their friendly close-knit team. Commission is uncapped so there is great earning potential whilst supporting a positive impact on the planet due to the nature of their events. You can also earn special bonuses if you outperform.

The Event/Delegate Sales Executive role: 

Your job will consist of CRM & Data management to find & qualify the best, most senior candidates within the industry and then using telephone & email communication to convert these leads into paid registrations for the Summit. Delegates are director-level, and based globally, so an ability to sell to senior, international contacts, in an effective and efficient manner, is a must.


What you will do:

· Follow up inbound leads and enquiries and convert to sales

· Identify and account manage past multi-buyers and key customers

· Build, operate and maintain a sales database

· Work directly with the marketing team to generate new leads

· Develop the portfolio of products and Identify new business opportunities

Eventually, you will specialise and become an expert on a specific Industry. 

 

The Event/Delegate Sales Executive Candidate:

· A graduate

· Previous phone sales experience preferred but not essential

· An interest in sustainability


· CRM experience (preferred but not essential)

· Track record of high achievement

· A highly self-driven sense of motivation

· Natural curiosity and passion for sustainability

· Confident when selling to Senior-level business people globally

· Ability to work well within a team environment

· Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and Google

· Educated to Degree level (preferred but not essential)

· A good sense of humour!

Junior International Sales Account Manager (Sport/Fitness) Brighton

Our Global sports nutrition client who is based in Brighton is now looking for a Regional Account Manager – International to join their friendly UK & Overseas Account Managers sales team. You will be responsible for driving the sales for one of their top name sports nutrition brands. 

 

The role is home/Brighton office based. Ideally you will live within close proximity to an airport as the role will involve international travel to meet clients a couple of times a month. 

 

The client is looking for someone who has 3+ years solid sales experience in a customer facing role. You will have experience dealing with International distributors and P&L knowledge as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and resilient attitude.

 

You will ideally have an interest in sport. Hobby or passion, whether it be football, swimming, skittles or skiing, it doesn’t matter! 

 

 

The Company:

The company has recently acquired two multi-million sports nutrition businesses which are both based in the UK. Currently these businesses are standalone, but they plan to integrate them under the new company name to then be a standalone business within their Group.

 

Their brands are well recognised in the Sports Nutrition marketplace in the UK and overseas due to the dynamic branding and marketing of the products.

 

They are passionate about helping people compete and get the most from their sport, whatever the level of goal. They try to only use natural and great tasting ingredients that are proven to improve performance through training, competition and recovery. 

 

Their manufacturing site is certified by Informed Sport which means that the facility and their processes have been rigorously tested for the presence of a range of banned substances that appear on the WADA list. 

 

 

The Regional Account Manager – International Role:

There are 8 people in the sales team. You will be working under the Sales Director and alongside the other UK and overseas National Account Managers, with a sales Support Executive who assists the sales team with qualifying leads and admin.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF ROLE 

·       Full responsibility for the management and strategic development of your portfolio of accounts;

o   Research, define and deliver development plans for your accounts and new business opportunities, with measurable objectives for growth. Plans should include;

§  Marketing, price and promotional plans with clear targets and budgets

§  Building activation plans with your distributors to drive consumption and build our brands

§  Pre and post promotional evaluations, sharing recommendations for future activity.

o   Conduct regular business review meetings with accounts, to fully understand your customers & markets, carrying out visits as necessary, to build collaborative relationships and maximise opportunities.

o   Where appropriate, on larger accounts, deliver customer JBPs, including category reviews and recommendations.

o   Deliver cost price increases, to improve contribution and recover raw material increases, through managing negotiations.

o   Maintain budgets, pricing, forecasting and promotional activities for all of your accounts.

·       Deliver sales volume and contribution in line with agreed budgets and forecasts. 

o   Provide written update on progress as part of team reporting processes.

·       Work collaboratively and cross functionally across the business to ensure the S&OP is executed to deliver the maximum benefit for ABSN and its customers 

·       Attend exhibitions, events and industry seminars where relevant and appropriate.

 

 

The Regional Account Manager – International Candidate:

Due to the nature of their business an interest in sport is preferred, hobby or passion, football, swimming, hula hoops or horses it doesn’t matter!

•               Understanding working with other departments and the client to drive consumption
