FILLED – Senior Creative Designer, Brighton, £40-45K, Design & Marketing Agency
Our client is an established creative design, marketing and communications agency that have recently relocated their Head office to Brighton & Hove. They are truly passionate about bringing brands to life, helping their clients to tell their stories and connect with audience through compelling online and offline experiences.
They are friendly informal company who enjoy working a s ateam and love working with people and building rewarding long term relationships. The clients range from SME’ss to global heavyweights and they work with the agency to help increase engagement, change attitudes and inspire great conversations that take their businesses and customers further.
They do all this by working across brand, identity, and print all the way to digital marketing, websites, apps, events, film and animation.
Since moving to their new home in stylish and spacious offices they are planning to grow the agency and are now looking to bring on board a senior creative designer who can create engaging and effective design solutions that supports client brand strategy and objectives. You will work alongside the Creative Director and also manage two designers as well as working with the Managing Director and account handlers and other team members.
You will be a strong and experienced creative designer with around 5+ years design under your belt and be working at a senior level in an agency environment on impressive client accounts across all aspects of brand identity, print, digital and marketing.
You will also have a proven track record of mentoring, developing and overseeing colleagues within a studio.
You will need to liaise with the creative director, account managers and our clients – working on projects from
conception to completion to the highest standards. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, fun and social environment;
have excellent creative and time management skills, as well as a pragmatic and flexible approach to working.
Production of original creative ideas & concepts is the absolute essence of this role. You will need to
demonstrate a solid ability to understand and process client objectives and requirements, responding to them
with compelling and memorable creative thinking, pushing boundaries, employing the latest trends and
mediums whilst mindful of budgets and deadlines. You will be responsible for developing conceptual ideas across a range of touchpoints, as well as managing the development and realisation of your thinking within the team. You need to be bold and confident with your ideas, but willing to take advice and guidance too.
Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be required to interact with different individuals and talk
knowledgeably about your ideas and concepts.
The senior creative role is dynamic, exciting and varied. As a key part of our studio, you will play an integral
role in the delivery of client communication through a range of online and offline media.
You will be responsible for valuable input into projects as well as owning your own work and being involved
from initial concept to final design
Origination of ideas and thinking in response to client requirements
Taking creative concepts and developing to the next stage
Consistent application of brand and messaging across online and offline touchpoints
Checking and proofing other team members work prior to presenting to clients or final output
Briefing and managing development of ideas within the team
Accurate and timely reporting against all projects
Delivery of client work to deadlines and consistently high-standards
