The Company:
Our client is a dynamic PR agency specialising in servicing clients in fast-growth technology industries. The agency has built a strong reputation for delivering strategic thought leadership PR programmes across Europe, North America, and APAC that deliver tangible business results for its clients.

Due to winning several new major clients they are looking for 2x senior account executives (SAE) to join their team in the Tunbridge Wells office to continue in the delivery of first-class campaigns.

As a senior account executive (SAE) you will be ultimately responsible for implementing the strategies and activities as detailed by your account managers/directors, as well as proactively looking for opportunities or devising ideas to contribute to the team effort.

The company looks after their staff well and offers their employees plenty of support including monthly in house training when needed quarterly appraisals and goals and regular promotion opportunities.

The Role:
You should be fairly self-sufficient & capable of running smaller accounts virtually on your own, with minimal guidance from seniors.

Tasks include:
Taking a brief from a client & writing accurate press releases and copy
Identify feature opportunities
Writing monthly activity reports, client reviews, proposals
Deliver a high standard of account management
Ensuring press coverage is delivered in a timely fashion
Developing relevant business contacts
Taking ownership of meeting preparation’s, agenda, notes, reports
Actively participating in meetings & presentations to existing clients and new pitches
Participating in presentations to existing clients and new pitches
Contributing to new business briefs and brainstorms
Understanding account budgets and financial controls
Assist with content for social media channels
Producing internal/external letters, emails, memos for colleague, clients and journalists
Running features programmes for all clients
Driving the media relations programmes for clients
Being proactive in all media areas for clients
Confident approaches to journalists
Assisting in events, workshops, photo calls, press conferences, training days etc for clients.

The Candidate:
At least one years’ proven PR experience
Confident pitching to journalists
Proven client handling and relationship building skills
Ability to influence through effective communication
Good writing and proof reading skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload
Quick learner
Team player with a positive attitude
Proven experience researching case studies, writing, and running social media campaigns
