We’re recruiting for a leading business to business media company based in West Sussex. They produce leading magazines, websites, conferences, awards and exhibitions in a number of interesting and exciting sectors.
As a company our client delivers strong editorially-driven products that fulfill their readers’ information needs and help them do their jobs better. And they have a strong proposition for their advertising customers.
Purpose of the Digital Advertising Sales Account Manager Role:
To sell complex and innovative digital solutions on an established,  market-leading website to new and existing clients in order to drive revenue and growth for the brand.


Working directly with clients and media agencies of all sizes, the Account Manager will be creating integrated and creative marketing campaigns that demonstrate a direct ROI.



Key responsibilities & tasks for the Digital Advertising Sales Account Manager

  • Manage and grow existing accounts as well as generating new business
  • Face to face meetings with key clients to understand their marketing objectives and present solutions to meet these.
  • Sales of a wide inventory of products including web, mobile/app, newsletter, video, email marketing, lead generation, rich media and Face to Face events
  • Development, analysis and evaluation of digital campaign reports/ statistics
  • Demonstrate market and competitor knowledge
  • Develop a good understanding and interest in online and digital marketing trends
  • Have an understanding and knowledge of all areas of the company’s products in order to promote where relevant
  • Network with key clients and readers
  • Present complex marketing solutions
  • Be very consultative, yet demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Liaise closely with colleagues and produce fully integrated portfolio campaigns where necessary
  • Meet and exceed Sales and KPI targets



Key skills and qualifications required for the Digital Advertising Sales Account Manager role:

  • You will be a self-motivated, ambitious and dynamic individual with a keen interest in the world of Digital.
  • You will have experience of managing accounts of all sizes, as well as proactively sourcing new business opportunities
  • Great time management skills, proactive attitude with high attention to detail
  • Experience in cross platform solution selling
  • A strategic and innovative thinker
  • Media sales experience is essential, with digital and face to face sales an advantage
