 About the Role


As the Communications Officer you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your communication skills in a 8 person communications/PR team within a large mental health trust. As the Communications  Officer your responsibilities will include:


  • Developing, implementing and evaluating communications projects and strategies
  • Commissioning, writing and editing clear, compelling and relevant content – website, publications, press releases etc
  • Responding to all media enquiries and briefing journalists
  • Managing events and press conferences
  • Raising the profile of the Trust through effective media relations
  • Providing digital communications expertise including social media channels
  • Providing communications advice and support to staff throughout the organisation
  • Supporting the ongoing development of the Trust website and social media channels


About You


If you are currently an in-house Communications Officer and PR Manager or a PR agency account manager looking to move in-house in this is the ideal next step in your career.
